Stay at home (self-isolate) without any testing for Covid-19, regardless of travel history or contact with confirmed cases, if you have:

a. A new continuous cough,

b. High temperature (of 37.8 degrees centigrade or higher),

c. Loss of taste or smell,

If you have serious symptoms or you cannot manage at home you should use NHS 111 online coronavirus service that can tell you if you need medical help and advise you what to do.

(You should only call NHS 111 if you cannot get online).

The NHS and Public Health England (PHE) are extremely well prepared for outbreaks of new infectious diseases. The NHS has put in place measures to ensure the safety of all patients and NHS staff while also ensuring services are available to the public as normal.

Please do not attend the practice before speaking to reception first. Please do not attend the practice for a face to a face GP appointment. Some essential Nurse procedures are still going ahead but with a screening at reception first. Thank you for your understanding.
